Eric’s Story

Eric Stewart had worked as a contractor for the  U.S. military for many years, but for the next chapter in his career, he wanted to own a business. He conducted an online job hunt, but didn’t find anything that matched his skill set. So when a franchise industry consultant contacted him and explained how franchising meant he wouldn’t have to “start from scratch” to launch a new business,  Eric was interested.

“I loved the advantage of having a head start versus starting on my own,” Eric said. “It’s important to have a brand that is nationally recognized so as customers move they can count on the same level of professionalism and exceptional service.”

In 2014, Eric launched Window Genie® of Killeen, and employed his stepsons. Today, the team is focused on business growth and customer acquisitions.

“I am self-motivated but always a team player,” Eric said. “If I can add value to your life in something I say or do, then that makes it all worth it!”

I have benefitted from the national recognition of Neighborly. This is an advantage that markets itself. If a consumer utilizes one or two brands and receives exceptional service, then they are most likely to continue to use other Neighborly brands.
