Kevin’s Story

Kevin Domingue had long wanted to work for himself. After 30+ years as an established and well-known executive in the electrical field service industry, he was ready to take his impressive career in a new direction. In 2010, Kevin heard about a franchise opportunity with Mr. Electric and went on topurchase an established Mr. Electric business in Houston: Mr. Electric® of NW Houston, Katy, and Houston Midtown.

Kevin says he saw the opportunity in franchise ownership right away, citing the financials of the existing business and “not having to start from scratch” as the reasons why he made the acquisition. Now, Kevin works alongside his wife, Phyllis, who handles payroll, accounting, and administrative support for the business, and they’re focused on next-level success. “The growth potential for our business is unlimited,” Kevin explains.

As for the most rewarding part of his role? Kevin says it’s “sharing my knowledge and experience so others can fulfill their career and life goals.”
