Tony’s Story

After working for 16 years as a mechanical engineer in the nuclear power industry, Tony Perez was looking for an exit strategy. When he learned about the opportunity to purchase an existing Mr. Rooter® Plumbing in the Twin Cities, he thought the business size, location, and structure fit his engineering background. In 2018, he became the franchise owner and today works alongside one of his sons, Alex.

Tony and his wife Heidi have been married 24+ years and are also parents to son, Jared. As he looks ahead, Tony sees a future filled with potential and he’s excited about the continued growth for his Minneapolis/St. Paul business, as well as the ability to work with other Neighborly® brands to build market share across the entire organization.
