Jose’s Story

Jose Piña had been running his own independent plumbing business when he received a call about evolving his company into a franchise . Intrigued, he set out to learn what he could about the organization. After conducting his due diligence, it was clear to Jose that the established Neighborly system was a path to success.

“I wanted to create a better place for people to grow—and help the community in the process,” he explained.

In 2017, he opened Mr. Rooter® Plumbing of San Bernardino. And as Jose says, “The rest is history.”

Today, Jose also owns three additional Mr. Rooter Plumbing franchises in California—specifically in Pomona Valley, Riverside, and Apple Valley. In 2021, he was named “Franchisee of the Year” by Mr. Rooter Plumbing.
