His kids would say, “What’s dad like now versus when he was doing both jobs? Oh, we like him so much better now.” Today, David has the flexibility to coach his boys’ baseball and football teams, allowing him to be more present at home. “It’s really helped with family life balance. I’m able to be around more.”
