Sloan's Story

Sloan Black doesn’t like doing yard work — an interesting fact, because he purchased a business that requires working in customers’ yards. He invested in Mosquito Joe® of Southeast Charlotte to earn more money and be in control of his destiny. Buying into an established business model afforded him the opportunity to reduce risk. Later Sloan coached new owners through their first season, even loaning them a technician— giving back in honor of his mentors.

Sloan and his wife, Jen, operate Mosquito Joe together and believe consulting with other franchise owners and having systems, marketing, and processes in place from day one helped them succeed. As their business grows, they enjoy hearing from satisfied customers and watching members of the team succeed as they’re promoted to leadership positions.

I have found success in treating our customers and employees the way I would want to be treated. It's a concept that is simple and effective.
