Real Property Management was intentional about choosing owners they felt would succeed. That mattered to me.
There is no way I could have come this far, this quickly, without the resources they provided. The tools and guidance I received on day one would have taken me years to create on my own.
We hear from people every day who are grateful for the support we provide. I never expected this level of appreciation. It was surprising in the best way.
For Lesha Dickerson, the most gratifying part of becoming a Real Property Management franchise owner has been discovering a level of freedom she never experienced in her previous careers.
That includes the jobs she held in healthcare and even the business she once owned herself. After twenty years in the medical field, she wanted a change. She also wanted a business she could grow with confidence, backed by a team that believed in her future.
She found all of that when she opened her Real Property Management franchise in 2022.
When Lesha began researching franchise options, she explored a wide range of companies. Real Property Management immediately stood out because of its strong reputation and thoughtful approach to selecting franchise owners.
“Real Property Management was intentional about choosing owners they felt would succeed,” she recalls. “That mattered to me.”
Her timing could not have been better. Recent housing market shifts created an increased demand for property management. Many homeowners who could not sell their homes chose to rent instead. This provided Lesha with an opportunity to build long-term relationships and quickly grow her client base.
Although property management was new to her, Lesha brought valuable experience to the table. Her background in sales and operations helped her start with confidence.
“Walking into real estate offices and introducing myself came naturally because of my sales background,” she says. “I would not have had that confidence years ago.”
She also credits Real Property Management for her rapid growth. The training, systems, and ongoing coaching played a major role in helping her scale efficiently.
“There is no way I could have come this far, this quickly, without the resources they provided. The tools and guidance I received on day one would have taken me years to create on my own.”
Coming from healthcare, Lesha wondered whether she would still feel the satisfaction of helping people. Only a few months into her new role, she had her answer.
“We hear from people every day who are grateful for the support we provide. I never expected this level of appreciation. It was surprising in the best way.”
She realized that property management gave her a new way to make an impact. Providing safe homes, helping owners protect their investments, and guiding families through transitions brought a sense of purpose she didn’t want to lose.
When she first launched the business, her husband supported her decision from the sidelines. As the franchise grew, he became increasingly involved. About a year into the business, their son also joined the company.
Lesha hopes he will continue to grow with the company and eventually take the lead. That future would allow her and her husband to enjoy even more of the freedom they have worked so hard to create.
Lesha has built a thriving business in a short period of time, supported by an experienced network and proven systems. She is proud of the progress she has made and even more proud of the team she continues to build.
