Junk King Is a Family — And That’s Why I’m Still Here 12 Years Later.

I couldn’t have succeeded without the help of every single person in this system.

The fact that I have 120 franchise owners helping me achieve my goals? That’s more support than any football team or baseball team. The support is unparalleled.

For this longtime Junk King® franchise owner, joining the brand didn’t just launch a business — it connected him to a community he now considers family

“Junk King is a family,” he says. “There’s not a person in this system I wouldn’t throw down for. That’s a fact.” After more than 12 years in the network, that feeling has only strengthened.

Every year, new franchise owners join the system, and those who want to get involved quickly discover a supportive, tightknit group ready to welcome them. Some owners prefer to operate quietly and independently, attending fewer trainings or events — and that’s okay. But for him, the connections he’s built have been essential. “I couldn’t have succeeded without the help of every single person in this system,” he shares. “And now, I try to pay it forward to the next guys coming in.”

What started as a career decision has grown into something that fuels him every day. “Junk King means everything right now. It might be what I do for a living, but it’s become so much more than that,” he says. “I don’t wake up thinking, ‘How can I go get someone’s junk?’ It’s about helping people in the system. It’s about helping the brand. It’s about being kind to one another and helping each other succeed.”

That mindset is shared across the network. With more than 120+ franchise owners working toward similar goals, the level of support stands out. “The fact that I have 120 franchise owners helping me achieve my goals? That’s more support than any football team or baseball team,” he says. “The support is unparalleled.”

And for him, that support extends far beyond fellow owners. The corporate team — from the Csuite to the brand president — has become a major part of why he loves the Junk King system. “I love the Junk King franchise system because of the franchise system,” he says. “Not only the owners, but our upper management…[they are] friends for life.” He speaks especially warmly of the Junk King Brand President: “I’ll be friends with her the rest of my life.”

Twelve years in, the reason he stays is simple: the people. The relationships he’s built, the collaboration he’s experienced, and the shared passion for helping one another succeed are what make Junk King more than a business. “It really is about the people,” he says. “We welcome new owners every year, and they become part of the family — if they want to. Some stay close, some keep to themselves. But the support is always there.”

For him, being a Junk King franchise owner isn’t just about running a business — it’s about belonging to a community that celebrates one another’s wins, supports one another’s challenges, and grows stronger together. And that’s why, after more than a decade, he still wakes up grateful to be part of the Junk King family.
