Jeff’s Story

Jeff Baker wanted more family time and greater success with money management, but he knew he needed a career change to have it. So, he did some soul-searching.

“I began looking at my life and came to the realization that I wanted to control my own financial destiny and have the quality of life that financial freedom brings,” Jeff said.

Jeff went online and learned about business opportunities with The Grounds Guys®. When he fact-checked the information with a friend (who’s also a Mr. Appliance® franchise owner), he knew he was on to something.

“The Code of Values was (important to me),” he explained. “Coming from the military and law enforcement community, that made sense for how I wanted to work with the franchise.”

In 2013, Jeff launched The Grounds Guys in Wichita, Kansas, and today, he is most definitely in charge of his financial destiny.

I love the journey I have been on since starting The Grounds Guys. It has been life changing on all levels, and as I look back over the last 10 years of ownership, my dreams then do not even come close to what I have been able to experience.
